Words cannot express how fortunate I have been being a part of OIPG this past four years. Everyone is very generous and helpful to one another. It has been my pleasure to get to know you.

June 2009
The June Meeting
June Guild meeting will be held at Gina's house since Barbie is gone this month. The map to Gina's house was passed out at the May 2009 workshop. If you did not get a map, the directions are as follows: From Highway 58 (heading south towards Naha) make a left turn onto Highway 23. Pass Kadena Gate 5 and Kadena Gate 2 and turn right onto Highway 85. Cross Highway 329. When you reach an intersection with a Lawson's to your left, a Family Mart on your right, and a Yellow Box on your left across from Lawson's, turn right (if you reach San A, you have gone too far). At the first intersection, turn right. A building with "budoo no ki" (grape tree) written in large hirigana letters will be on your right. Down just a little ways "Abelia" (house) will be on your left. That is Gina's place. Her number is 989-0069.
The June Workshop
In June Setsuko and Akemi will be teaching us this patchwork notebook cover. The supply list will be 
distributed at the June Guild meeting. For those who were not able to attend the meeting, the supply list is as follows:
A4 sized hard cover notebook
Scraps of fabric at least 1.5 inches wide for stars and log cabin design
Several pieces of main fabric as long and wide at the notebook for the inside cover
Piece of netting for inside pocket
Zipper for inside pocket

There will be no July Workshop since so many will be away on vacations.
